Public Voting Rules

The Dubai Globe Soccer Awards award top performances and outstanding achievements by international football players and professionals over the entire year of 2022 up to the event date.

The categories open for public voting are:

Main Awards

• Best Men’s Player of the Year
• Best Women’s Player of the Year
• Best Men’s Club of the Year
• Best Women’s Club of the Year
• Best Coach of the Year
• Power Horse Emerging Player of the Year

Digital Awards

• Best Football Esports Player
• Best Football Journalist
• Best Football Social Media Influencer
• Best Football TikTok Creator
• Best Football Youtube Creator

Round 1

Oct 20, 2022 – Nov 1, 2022

Fans can vote on a total of 115 nominees split across 6 main award categories, and 75 nominees split across 5 digital award categories, and will be able to vote through a dedicated Globe Soccer Awards website available at https://voting.globesoccer.com.

The nominees receiving the most votes in each category will integrate the shortlist of finalists who will proceed to Round 2.

Round 2

Nov 3, 2022 – Nov 10, 2022

The shortlist for each category elected in Round 1, will be listed for the public to vote on their favourite finalists.

In this second and final round, the calculation of the final results will involve the official jury of Globe Soccer, with the jury’s vote weighing 75%, while the public vote will count 25% towards choosing the final winners.

The winners for each of the 11 categories will be announced live during the Globe Soccer Awards gala ceremony to be held on Nov 17, 2022 in Dubai.
